GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 730416
Facebook messages getting deleted and marked as spam by facebook
Last modified: 2014-05-28 11:16:54 UTC
Created attachment 276816 [details] Screenshot showing the facebook deletions Facebook messages getting deleted and marked as spam by facebook. The other person I'm talking with can see my messages, but after about 5-10 minutes, my messages get marked as spam and deleted.
A person I asked about it suspects the api may be flagged on Facebook.
How is this related to Empathy? How is this related to GNOME software at all? What are steps to reproduce?
Steps to reproduce: 1) Go to https://www.facebook.com/messages/ 2) Look for old messages that you sent from Empathy. 3) Notice that they have been replaced by a yellow box containing the warning, "This message is no longer available because it was identified as abusive or marked as spam". I'm on Fedora 19, with empathy-3.8.6 and gnome-online-accounts-3.8.5. Could this be related to bug 730530?
