Description Benas 2014-04-24 14:55:09 UTC
Gstreamer 1.2.4 installer for windows misses Gstreamer Editing Services (GES) *.props file. Without that file Visual Studio 2012 can't find ges-version.h header file. I'm not sure whether that ges-version.h file should exist at all, but I can't find it in Gstreamer 1.2.4 installation dir.

Hello Benas and thanks for your report,

We just release GES 1.2.1 because we were missing ges-version.h installation with 1.2.0.

New binaries are going to be released (normally today), and they will include that fix.

Commit fixing that issue:

commit	a1e15c817fe0e90f9805c20ec66f7b84d4c2f83e
build: install ges-version.h

I am not sure what the .props files are about exactly, I do not think we generate any, do you know about that?

Actually it looks like the ges.props file are in the 1.2.1 binary builds, closing the bug.
