GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 727303
choosing a predefined color set causes loss the custom color set
Last modified: 2021-06-10 20:44:29 UTC
1. Prepare a profile with a custom color palette. 2. In the profile editor's color tab, pick "solarized". 3. Pick "custom" again. Actual results: >> Profile editor shows "Custom", but the color palette remains solarized's. Expected results: >> The previously-saved custom color palette is restored when you pick "custom".
Good point. On the other hand, you can easily start from any of the built-ins (and maybe just fine-tune one or two colors). With your proposed change it'd probably be harder to keep this feature. Relevant: bug 655030
You also have a good point. What about a "Customize" button that is only shown for predefined color sets and copies the current set to the "Customized" set?
