Description Mikael Hallendal 2002-02-26 07:05:18 UTC
Calum:

- Link on home page says "Manual Pages", but clicking on it takes me to
a page titled "Man page sections". Need to be consistent. My
preference would be to re-title this sub-page "Manual Pages" as well...
but if we'd rather call them "Man pages" throughout to keep the techies
happy, so be it. (2)

If the techies are such that spelling out "manual" is a dissatisfaction,
then they are probably such that capitalizing the 'm' is too. ;-)

um, however . . . might this present a i18n/l10n problem? I'm thinking
that while 'man' is probably not localized, "Manual" would be. Those
seeking this documentation might not know that 'man' is abbreviated
from 'manual' and thus miss the localized form.

good point. Perhaps 'Manual Pages (man)'?
Hmm .. not sure, doesn't look too good either :(
