See the attached screenshot:

 * There's no heading.
 * Mismatching button heights in the header bar.
 * Header bar seems like the wrong place for the "Software" button (whose purpose is ambiguous) [I might have had something to do with this - sorry].
 * Select button should be grey and insensitive.
 * Left-aligned text looks bad.
 * "No applications available..." text is overly verbose, visually heavy, and oddly placed.
