Description Fabian Greffrath 2014-02-07 07:47:03 UTC
Hi,

when I want to create a new folder, I right-click on some spare space in the list view and select "New Folder". However, when there are so many files in the list view that the list exceeds the nautilus window vertically, there is no way I can click into spare space - I will always select a file with a click.

Also, right-clicking the corresponding button on top of the nautilus window which resembles the path to the folder, does not allow me to select "New Folder", though there are other actions offered.

Thanks for the bug report.

The "New Foler" action can be found if you click on the button with a "gear" or "cog" icon on the top of the window.

You are right about the path bar menu having other options but not all; this is something the most recent design work aims to fix.
