Description Lucien Foss 2014-02-04 10:47:48 UTC
Trying to capture a specific region when gnome-screenshot was started with a scale-factor of 2 will result in the wrong region being selected, and the resulting image being half the size it is supposed to be.

you can use this to artificially increase your scale factor if your computer is not retina
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface scaling-factor 2
Comment 1 Matthias Clasen 2014-02-07 16:38:11 UTC
this is actually done in gnome-shell nowadays
Comment 2 Florian Müllner 2014-02-07 16:46:55 UTC
Mmmh, I wasn't able to reproduce this on master
Comment 3 Florian Müllner 2014-02-07 17:32:58 UTC
Tentatively closing this as dupe of bug 705915, which added hi-dpi support in Clutter.
