Description Josh Barrow [No longer recieving mail] 2002-02-22 03:34:16 UTC
1) Download http://www.ionet.net/~linuxfan/dot-gtkrc-2.0 to your home
folder. Rename it to ".gtkrc-2.0" (without the quotes)
2) Start Nautilus
3) Right click on any folder or document and select "Rename"
4) Note that the text in the rename widget is light blue. Also, note that
the cursor is red. Both of these should have been overridden by the
.gtkrc-2.0 that you just installed.

This is a regression from Nautilus 1.x.

Regression, so high, but I don't know if this is impacted by other
font work. Josh: also, are you sure that this isn't a gtk problem?
Comment 2 Josh Barrow [No longer recieving mail] 2002-03-03 05:52:26 UTC
I'm fairly certain that it's a GnomeIconTextItem (or something like
that, the rename widget) problem with not respecting gtkrc-2.0, or
something.

Dave would know more, as he did that work.

I filed this as a Nautilus bug becuase Nautilus appears to be the only
program using this widget.

Hrm... if it is actually a widget bug, dave, please file a bug as
appropriate. Thanks.

This has been fixed in libgnomeui CVS.
