The change in r23585 causes all single split transactions to disappear from the register (although they are still present in the data).  The idea was to not show blank splits from other registers, for example in the "find results" register.  Unfortunately single split transactions can legitimately exist.  For example the Stock Split Assistant (Actions->Stock Split...) creates such a transaction.  This change needs to be either reverted or improved to find only blank splits.  Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any good way to do that.
