GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 721281
Cannot Save As with uppercase .JPG
Last modified: 2014-04-21 07:28:24 UTC
"Save As" does not work when the file ending is uppercase .JPG. You can click save but nothing happens. Lowercase .jpg works. When you manually select "JPEG" instead of "All Supported Files" saving as .JPG also works. What hits the user is that "Save As" will propose a filename with an uppercase .JPG when original filename is uppercase - and all pictures from digicams are uppercase. gthumb 3.2.4 on Fedora 20
This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software releas (3.2.7). Thank you for your bug report.
