I think this feature could improve the use of Google Drive in a GNOME environment. Google has no official client and GNOME already have support for Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Chat, and Documents. So why not support for Drive.

We would need a GVfs backend based on libgdata for this. However, I am not sure how feasible it would be to shoehorn Google Drive's semantics into the GVfs abstraction which assumes a UNIX-like hierarchical filesystem.
