Last modified: 2018-07-03 14:58:20 UTC
---- Reported by shotwell-maint@gnome.bugs 2013-11-03 08:04:00 -0800 ---- Original Redmine bug id: 7667 Original URL: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/7667 Searchable id: yorba-bug-7667 Original author: p g Original description: Each time I start shotwell, application is usable during 20 seconds and became very slow, and after exit suddenly. ---- Additional Comments From shotwell-maint@gnome.bugs 2013-11-08 17:47:00 -0800 ---- ### History #### #1 Updated by Jim Nelson 17 days ago * **Status** changed from _Open_ to _Need Information_ It looks like you have auto-import enabled. Can you disable it (in Edit -> Preferences) before Shotwell crashes? I also suggest running Shotwell like this: $ shotwell --no-runtime-monitoring #### #2 Updated by p g 17 days ago Even with --no-runtime-monitoring and auto-import disable, it crash... #### #3 Updated by Jim Nelson 17 days ago Please follow the instructions at http://redmine.yorba.org/projects/shotwell/wiki/ReportingABug and attach the files to this ticket. Thanks! #### #4 Updated by p g 13 days ago Which files are you talking about ? Shotwell.gdb and shotwell.log were already in the ticket. Are there others log ? #### #5 Updated by Jim Nelson 13 days ago I see. When I first looked at your .gdb file I didn't see a stack trace so I assumed you'd forgotten to do that step. Looking closer at the end of the file I see the problem: the program has already exited. I don't see anything there or in the .log file that is suspicious. When you run Shotwell from the terminal, do you see anything printed there that's not in the log file? Mostly I'm interested in something being printed right before it crashes. --- Bug imported by chaz@yorba.org 2013-11-25 21:59 UTC --- This bug was previously known as _bug_ 7667 at http://redmine.yorba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7667 Imported an attachment (id=262690) Imported an attachment (id=262691) Unknown Component Using default product and component set in Parameters Unknown version " in product shotwell.
