Sometimes I need to 'hunt' multiple folders (labels) to find that message that makes all my thread 'unread'. #### #3 Updated by Jim Nelson 8 months ago * **Category** set to _server-support_ * **Status** changed from _Need Information_ to _Open_ * **Target version** set to _0.4.0_ We need to look at Zimbra, but it's possible the filter creates a copy of the message rather than links to them in the other folders. I believe that Jim's last comment explains the issue. I'm adding in Cc Frederic, who uses Zimbra and might share some useful information. I'll set this as NEEDINFO for the moment.
This is probably true still, and is something we're going to have to handle better once we do a better job merging identical email (Bug 750695). Since in IMAP each message in each position folder has its own flags, we need to to go find and explicitly mark as read all copies when merged messages are flagged.
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org. As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).
