---- Reported by eric@yorba.org 2013-03-01 10:37:00 -0800 ----

Original Redmine bug id: 6461
Original URL: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/6461
Searchable id: yorba-bug-6461
Original author: Eric Gregory
Original description:

Sometimes you don't want a message to be sent right away -- you want it to go
out at a certain time. It would be great if Geary had a scheduled send
feature, where the message would sit in the outbox until a specified time and
then automatically send.

This is particularly useful for people writing newsletters.

We can reliably do this, since the computer may go to sleep, be turned off, Geary may exit, and so on, and so I don't think we should try, because giving the impression that Geary can will cause someone to get burnt at some point.

It might be a candidate for a plugin (Bug 714883), but marking wontfix since unless someone contributes it, it's unlikely to get done.
