GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 712807
Typing panel: combo box do not resize horiontally, is not large enough
Last modified: 2014-10-21 17:58:35 UTC
Created attachment 260430 [details] screen capture On the Typing panel, the options on the right (in the form of combo box) cannot be chosen, because the combo box is not large enough. When opening the combo box, the items are too wide compared to the menu width, and are truncated. Consequently, the panel becomes unusable because it's not possible to choose the options. See a screen capture attached
With Gnome 10.x the Windows->type->assign Euro to a keytop is non functioning (Fedora 20, 64bit system). This is happening on all three of my Fedora20 hardware boxes. If you open this to repair, how about a tweak for the yen on the Y key? My current keyboard is ca The display layout for ca and for latam and for others is missing a key top. This keytop is between the right shift and the Z key (qwerty keyboard). Latam, de, ca, are actually pc105 hardware keyboards. If you want to know what is omitted, visit the Gnome version that was included with Fedora 17, or exists with Debian or Mint16. You may also find the correct hardware layout on the wikapaedia site. I have tried for almost 2 years to get this problem resolved via Fedora bugzilla, and now I am applying directly to you. If you need to split up this bug report, just contact me and I will file separate ones.
