Not quite duplicates but very close; please reopen the other one if it isn't the same bug. Also, please remove the GNOME2 keyword if this isn't relevant to the 1.5 codebase. And of course close it if it isn't useful.
this crash scares me. I think it should be definitely fixed before Gnome 1.4.1 and have set the target milestone accordingly.
