Description jeff.deluca 2002-02-08 12:50:30 UTC
Package: nautilus
Severity: normal
Version: 1.4.0.4
Synopsis: panel crashes during login
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: Sidebar

Description:
startx. login, get the gnome splash screen, it laods sawfish, panel etc, then the desktop is painted. the RH7.2 "Start Here" folder is displayed and opened. The panel appears as a grey bar and then I get the dialog box saying the panel has crashed due to a segmentation fault. Happens all the time. I CTRL->Backspace to kill x, relogin and then the panel comes up ok. These two steps (crash on first login but then ok after that) are very repeatable.
