GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 707559
Confusing Wi-Fi disable option
Last modified: 2015-02-05 16:10:16 UTC
The entry with a "Wi-Fi" label turns the wireless devices off when it is set to... on. There is also a "Turns off wireless devices" description, but initially I was really confused. Changing the main label to something like "Disable Wi-Fi" (I'm sure you can come up with a better one) would help some users to better understand this option.
It seems I confused the labels even more in the above description, sorry about that. The option to turn the device off is "on" = the device is on, the option is "off" = device "off", of course, but it contradicts the "Turns off..." subtitle and makes my head hurt a little bit.
