I suspect the chart engine doesn't respect time zone.

When I plot bar charts (x-axis as time), the label of X are all off-by-one-day.
For example, I set the period as "begin of this year" to "today". The result x labels are "2012/12/31", "2013/01/31", "2013/02/28", etc.

Expected labels should be "2013/01/01", "2013/02/01", etc.
