if you links several layers in Gimp and go to 'Edit - Copy' then paste as new image, only the active layer was copied and pasted to the new image and linked layers was ignored

look at the bug you marked as duplicate of it has NOTHING to do with this bug!! this is copy multiple layers bug!! the bug listed in bug 637313 is a layer renaming bug!!
