Description Jorg K 2013-05-26 10:33:52 UTC
The Print command offers a dialogue with two tabs. The second tab is entitled "Image Settings".

In these settings one can position the image to be printed on the sheet, either by dragging it around in the preview or choosing an option from the "Center" menu.

That's great functionality, only that it doesn't work (in most cases).

I centred a 12cm by 24cm image and when I printed, it was printed into a corner of the paper instead of in the centre.

A workaround is to change the canvas size and enlarge the image.

Sorry about reporting a duplicate. I searched for bugs with headline containing "print" but only in 2.8.4, so I didn't see the other bug.
