GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 698105
Creating a new tab does _not_ use the $CWD from the existing shell.
Last modified: 2013-04-16 07:26:11 UTC
In gnome terminal 3.6x, if my current tab was in "/home/foo/bar", the shell created from a new tab would also be in "/home/foo/bar". However now the $CWD is reset to the home directory, I checked for preferences regarding this functionality and there seems to be no way to get back the previous behavior.
