Description Pavel Simerda 2013-04-15 18:19:59 UTC
'nmcli connection help' prints short documentation for the 'nmcli connection add' command, among others. It says 'add' is used with COMMON_OPTIONS, TYPE_SPECIFIC_OPTIONS and IP_OPTIONS, but COMMON_OPTIONS are not defined.

Either there are no COMMON_OPTIONS and this placeholder should be removed (and the type option repeated for each type in conjunction with the type name), or COMMON_OPTIONS should be defined so that the user can build up a correct command line.

A working configuration:

[connection]
id=Bridge
uuid=b17b17eb-3695-4609-963c-7d4570faab10
interface-name=testbridge
type=bridge

[bridge]
interface-name=testbridge

There was a typos and error in docs, but now COMMON_OPTIONS are described properly.
