GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 697946
Absolutely full NTFS reported as partition error
Last modified: 2013-04-24 16:29:27 UTC
Hi Curtis, Found this bug. Will be uploading patch shortly. Mike P.S. Fixed this while trying to reproduce the GParted crash. Currently watching a 50 GiB partition copy, so far successfully.
Created attachment 241444 [details] [review] Full ntfs fix (v1) Here's the fix. P.S. Copy of 50 GiB partition on my Fedora 14 desktop with GParted master completed successfully. Not reproduced the crash yet.
Created attachment 241505 [details] [review] Full ntfs fix (v2) The only difference from v1 to v2 is removal of unnecessary curly braces.
Thank you Mike for finding this problem and providing a patch to fix it. My tests of this problem have been successful and the code change looks good to me. The patch in comment #2 has been committed to the gnome repository for inclusion in the next release of GParted.
