GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 697461
Can't go to the remote mount root from Path Bar
Last modified: 2019-12-19 13:50:20 UTC
In the path bar the path sftp://user@server/ is represented the same way as sftp://user@server/home/user by only showing one button with a remote folder icon and the server name or ip. I my opinion it should show [server] [home] [user] If I am on sftp://user@server/home clicking on [server] brings me to sftp://server/, however if I am on sftp://user@server/home/user clicking on the [server] button does nothing (keeps me in the home) I looked at nautilus-pathbar.* but couldn't find where this is done exactly Could you fix it, please? Thanks a lot
> I looked at nautilus-pathbar.* but couldn't find where this is done exactly I guess this is because of https://git.gnome.org/browse/nautilus/commit/?id=3d3382add4ad387bb05425ba09d9dcbf5ee5314b

UI evolved a bit since this was reported, but there is still the same issue, let's continue on https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/issues/1319.
