Description James 2013-03-15 09:31:57 UTC
This is probably similar or same as: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=713640 however this exists in Fedora 18, and also occurs when unlocking screen (even if not previously suspended).

This is a huge security problem because your desktop from right when you locked the screen is shown.

Hope I'm not creating a dupe, but wanted to put this out there since it's present for me on two different F18 installations and is a security issue.

Thanks

Hey, a dupe means it's fixed, which is good news :-)

This has been fixed in bug 686482 (and a follow-up in bug 693708).

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 686482 ***

Oh great, sorry for the noise then... FWIW, this still happens in F18, and it would probably awesome if it gets backported to that. I know this isn't GNOME's fault though.
