Description Petr Kovar 2013-03-13 18:04:11 UTC
We plan to package translated videos in getting-started (gnome-getting-started-docs) into subpackages primarily to decrease the overall gnome-getting-started-docs package size.

This could allow gnome-initial-setup to install subpackages (in fact, language packs with videos) based on the locale selected by the user.

See https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=692208#c2 to see a test package gnome-getting-started-docs-cs for the cs locale.

In 692208, we originally planned to let users install the subpackages by clicking an install button included in getting-started, but having the subpackages installed by gnome-initial-setup seems like a better approach.
