Navigating with the keyboard on the applications in background.

Application folders are not keyboard navigable. When an application folder is open, you can keep navigating in the application list in backgound, but not in the application folder opened.

Exact steps to reproduce?

(I don't understand what you mean about in the application folder opened, and can use the keyboard to navigate amongst applications.)
Comment 2 Florian Müllner 2013-03-06 07:53:06 UTC
(1) Open the application picker
(2) Switch to "All" at the bottom [0]
(3) Navigate to an application folder (by default: "Utilities" or "Sundry")[1]
(4) Hit enter/space

[0] possible to reach with keynav, but not very comfortable, see bug 694951
[1] those should probably get a different accessible role than app launchers?

I've attached a patch to bug 695314 which addresses this issue as well.
