GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 69520
Focus doesn't update to moved windows on move-window-<direction>()
Last modified: 2009-08-16 15:13:28 UTC
Package: sawfish Severity: major Version: 1.0.1 Synopsis: Focus doesn't update to moved windows on move-window-<direction>() Bugzilla-Product: sawfish Bugzilla-Component: Window Manager Description: My debian sid machine just got a new version of sawfish (the package says it is version 1.0.1.20020116-1) and focus behavior has changed. The behavior used to be such that when I invoke the command move-window-<up, right, down, left>(), the window I move would always get the new focus on the viewports it got moved to. The behavior in the new version of sawfish is such that the previously focused window on the viewport I move to gets the focus instead, and the window that I am moving loses focus (and seems to go to the back of the focus-stack). This makes it difficult to move a single window across many viewports, since I might start out with a galeon in the upper-right -- but end up with an rxvt in the lower-left. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2002-01-24 00:11 ------- Unknown version 1.0.x in product sawfish. Setting version to "1.0". Reassigning to the default owner of the component, jsh@pixelslut.com.
would be nice to fix, but not a priority
