Description Paul van Tilburg 2013-02-26 12:04:19 UTC
When the terminal is resized, it resizes back once the focus leaves the terminal/tab. The only way to make the resize permanent is to switch to all current tabs of the terminal before the focus is lost.

This is a regression since gnome-terminal 3.4.x, where it works fine.
Comment 1 Paul van Tilburg 2013-02-26 12:06:23 UTC
An assumption I missed to mention above is that there are at least two tabs open, but this actually follows from the "making permanent" workaround.
