Description Ryan Lerch 2013-02-20 20:02:43 UTC
When my hostname changes, some of the application icons in the Left Hand Dock in the overview and the Alt-Tab switcher become blurry. (It looks like just a low-res PNG is being scaled up to fit the icon space).

Also, the titlebar of some applications also get strings like: (on this.host.com)
appended to their titles.

This usually happens when i move my laptop between networks, however, it can be re-created by changing the hostname to something arbitrary with "sudo hostname pants" then opening a new application. The icon is always the blurry version.

I am using GNOME 3.6.2 on Fedora 18.
