Description Alexander van Loon 2013-01-26 12:04:01 UTC
It would be nice to have the view settings apply to all address books. I don't see why you would want different settings for every address book.

Personally, I want to use the list view for all address books. By the default the list view displays columns for faxes. Because I don't need them I remove them. Every time I create a new address book I have to change it to list view and remove those fax columns again.

Thanks fro a bug report. You might prefer to select the List view, customize it based on your needs and then View->Current View->Save, then pick that view in all your address books. After that, whatever change you'll do (and save again) it'll be used for other books (with that view selected) as well. The only disadvantage is the initial state, where you should go through all address books and select the view. After that, all is "global".
