Description Peter E 2013-01-24 02:10:51 UTC
This seems to be quite an old bug, found 2.32.x report here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389812

What you do:
You rename a file and put a dot in front of it's name, so it will be hidden.

What happens:
File is renamed, but won't be hidden until you reload the folder

Should be reproducable on all nautilus versions, although I personally haven't tried it on any different versions than 3.6.3

No need to open a new report, let's bump the version on the other one - closing as a duplicate.
