Description Age Bosma (IRC: Forage) 2013-01-22 13:38:17 UTC
Ever since GNOME Shell, it's styled password dialog only allows you to attempt one password. You'll get the message "Sorry, that didn't work. Please try again." when you typed in the wrong password, but the dialog disappears right away after that. This isn't very users friendly. How can I try again when I don't get the chance to do so?
Now you'd have to perform the same action again to get the password dialog back, which isn't very efficient.

Personally I think the dialog should remain, unless one presses Cancel. You could also go for something like hiding when three attempts have failed.
