We tell people nowadays that we are strict about suspend on lid close, and if they don't like that, they can inhibit lid-close in logind. They usually come back with 'but I still need my screen to blank and lock'. I think we should probably handle this - if suspend doesn't happen because it it is inhibited, we should turn off the screen and lock it.
