Description Moltres_rider 2013-01-14 20:10:23 UTC
I am NOT very happy right now!!! I did some VERY ADVANCED photomanipulation and Gimp decides to RANDOMLY CRASH!!! I LOST 45 MINUTES OF WORK!!! I don't know how such a feature gets overlooked!!! seriously, we NEED an autosave or picture recovery feature!!! all programs are starting to incorporate it in... many free programs do too!!! Gimp 2.8.2 has WAY TOO MANY problems!!! I am considering downgrading back to 2.6.10!!! I had no crashes, none of these bugs I see frequently marked duplicates... it is WAY better!!!

If you want to help with the autosave feature, then please have a look at bug 138373 - it explains the challenges that have to be taken into account.
