Description Zygmunt Krynicki 2012-12-19 12:17:27 UTC
I'm using boxes 3.6.2

I have a windows xp installation CD that cannot be installed in boxes. One the installer/wizard page where I can select a network location, local file or inserting a CD does nothing. Trying to use /dev/sr0 as a file failed (claims the file is not bootable, probably because of block device having size).

Copying this CD to a file with dd if=/dev/sr0 of=winxp.iso made installation possible.
