Description nodiscc 2012-12-18 12:06:09 UTC
Hi, I think it would be great to have detachable tabs (like gnome-terminal does), ie you drag a tab out of nautilus' window, drop it, and then it's opened as a standalone window.

This has been implemented in Nemo (a fork of nautilus by the cinnamon team). Relevant commit: https://github.com/linuxmint/nemo/commit/43c4cafd2b703f618b31417dfcc5c1fbb6be7f30

Hope you will consider this, thanks.

I think they just took the code from Nautilus for that, since this was implemented last cycle :)

Well i'm still using 3.4 from debian repositories, so I didnt notice that was implemented, sorry for the noise.

Great to see this happen, thanks.
