Description Gal Leibovici 2012-12-07 16:53:43 UTC
Documentation for using alternate keyboard layouts are outdated.
It points out that you can choose to set a different keyboard layout for each window, but in gnome 3.6 you actually cannot do so.

Document in question: http://library.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/3.6/keyboard-layouts.html.en

Language and style correction provided for keyboard-layouts.page

Hello,
This bug has already been fixed (by Juanjo Marín?).
I have only made a few corrections concerning the style and language.
I suggest closing the bug.

Overall looks good, just two minor points.

In general, as the bug has already been fixed, it would be better to close this bug and file a new one about the language improvement.

This is not better grammar and you forgot a full stop at the end of the sentence. Use a more active tone, for example, start the sentence with "Use…", which will also fix the grammar problem.

The description paragraph fixed

Thank you very much Kat!

I have already found a better description and committed it (see the minipatch).
I did not mean to link anything, I have only added an item to a short list of bugs the page relates to for transparency' sake. I have added it under the "comment" tag not to offend anybody..

Both patches were pushed to master in commits 5e6cf90c4394ade4e7397f09034abb668a6792d9 and 6fbe7091519672c6d04346af68c9e1a22747fc85.

They were fixed up in commit ac089f4018cd2b21639073fd1a1bf027bc4d8b6a.
