Description Chris Chabot 2002-01-18 02:14:46 UTC
When i search a large mount for a generic spec (my 300 gig archives drive,
for *.gz), gsearchtool tends to take a while before it can represent me
with its results.

However, during the search, nothing indicates to me that it is bizzy.
(accept a greyed out search button). Does it hang or search? no way of telling.

Also it would be nice if it could find 'found so far' results while it is
searching. This way the app feels more interactive, and chances are the
wanted result might be found before the actual search is done.

Chris: please feel free to add what you feel are the 'correct'
keywords in GNOME2 bugs you file in the future (including GNOME2
keyword, of course.)
Comment 2 Luis Villa 2002-01-29 21:25:31 UTC
Maintainers: I've marked this group of searchtool bugs (only 5) as GNOME2 bugs.
If they aren't relevant to GNOME2, please remove the keyword. Thanks.
