I pushed these changes. I looked at the similar changes for quadrapassel
(bug 687612) and applied the same changes to klotski. I used the
HC icons but not the symbolic.

BTW I don't think I have the power to change the status of this bug. If anybody knows how maybe they can fix my permissions so I can edit klotski bugs.

Hi John, I think you should be able to modify all gnome-klotski bugs now, let me know if you can't.
