GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 689384
should install a highcontrast app icon
Last modified: 2013-08-13 07:46:34 UTC
We are aiming to have an highcontrast app icon for all apps in 3.8. See https://live.gnome.org/GnomeGoals/HighContrastAppIcons
Ping: any news about this?
I don't know. I have looked at other applications when this bug has been opened but at that time, there was few high contract icon done. It seems that most applications have one now, I can try to draw one but I'm not a graphic designer.
Created attachment 249699 [details] Proposed high contrast icon I have started from Anjuta .svg icons. I have removed the background disk to make the horse head shape easier to recognize and I have increase a bit the size of the ears to avoid too small details. Then, I have used the create-highcontrast utility in gnome-themes-standard to get all needed sized. Is it ok to commit them?
Looks good! For me it's ok to commit them, but I'd like to have Matthias' oppinion before. Thanks!
Looks good to me.
Thanks, I have committed them.
Many thanks for taking care of this. Andreas: could you please take a look into bugs #694258 and #694133? They are the only two bugs remaining to close this Gnome Goal. Thanks again!
