Cannot change theme to empathy windows. This shitty new interface has no control, where it came?

I still can change theme for Google Talk windows. Default theme is working just

I just don't understand this bug. Chat themes can be changed from the preferences dialog, is this not working?

Does the theme is changed after the chat window has been closed and re-opened? 

Are the gsettings key changed when trying change the theme?
Use those 2 commands to check their values before and after the change:

  gsettings get org.gnome.Empathy.conversation theme
  gsettings get org.gnome.Empathy.conversation theme-variant
