Description Muflone 2012-10-23 09:23:20 UTC
I had this defect previously in 3.4.x but in some way it was solved. Now in 3.6.1 it appeared again.

When using a Google account the GNOME Contacts apps shows only the contacts listed on the Google group "My contacts".
Making a search from the app for a contact not present in the My contacts group returns it under Google Other account.

GNOME Contacts should list all the available contacts in the account or should provide a way to choose the desired groups to view.

That's the way it works. We show you by default those contacts, you've tagged as My Contacts, and all the others (take into account there should be a lot of them) are available through search.

Nonetheless, take a look at the discussion here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=676411.

I'm closing this bug as a duplicate of that other.
