GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 685635
e-d-s seems to needlessly request google account authentication on session start
Last modified: 2014-07-01 10:57:22 UTC
When I start my session (and sometimes when I click on my shell calendar) I get a black shell-style authentication request saying it's for my google account. This request blocks the screen and whatever I type in it (be it my password, my gmail password or a google app-specific password), the authentication will fail. It shouldn't even try to ask me for authentication, because this should be handled by GOA.

These days Google supports OAuth2 over CalDAV, which I believe EDS is already using. Other than that this is a duplicate of bug 728496 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 728496 ***
