GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 685031
Plural forms
Last modified: 2013-03-06 14:37:11 UTC
Messages "Error pre-reading %lld bytes from offset %lld" "Error writing %lld bytes at offset %lld: %m" "Expected to write %lld bytes, only wrote %lld: %m" "Error reading %lld bytes from offset %lld" require to use ngettext instead gettext due "byte" plural forms. Some languages has more complicated rules then English "one or more" and they change word form even for high numbers.

first one is not fixed, still word "bytes" is there, we can have multiple forms depending on number of bytes
