Description Jacob Emcken 2012-09-19 11:53:50 UTC
How to reproduce:

I'm using dual screen.

 A B
 ------- -------
| 1 X | Y |
| | |
 ------- -------
| 2 Z |
| |
 -------

A and B er the two screens and 1 and 2 is the two workspaces that I've placed my applications X, Y & Z on. The application on screen B is always visible because it follows my workspace.

First I focus application Y and then X.
Now my attention (and mouse pointer) is on screen A and I want to go to application Z so I switch workspace (Ctrl+Alt+down).

What happens:
Application Y has focus.

What I expected:
Application Z to get focus.

If I wanted to focus application Y I would use Alt+Tab or just move the mouse to the other screen.

I use switch workspace because I want to go to something that isn't accessible on the current workspace (where application Y already resides).

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 with Gnome 3 PPA and binary Nvidia drivers.
