GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 682190
Add a crop-margins zoom level
Last modified: 2014-02-23 20:08:36 UTC
It seems the best fit and fit page width zoom levels take the whole document width into account. It would be nice to have a zoom level where only the text part is taken into account, and made to take the whole width of the window(or screen). That requires detecting margins correctly in the various backends first. Would that be feasible?
Alternatively, providing a way to set custom values for zoom would help a lot. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/1175379

Hrmm... I think that version is not available for Ubuntu/Linux Mint (yet?).

Based on the description, the only thing left in this bug is to add a crop-margins zoom level not taking the whole page width into account, but only the width of the actual content, and that is the same topic as discussed in bug 169676. I guess this should be marked as a duplicate of that one, if there are no other requirements.
