GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 681817
Filter "Difference of Gaussians" doesn't work properly
Last modified: 2012-10-13 06:39:06 UTC
When I click in: Filters - Edge detect - Difference of Gaussians appears a windows to set the parameters but, when I click 'OK' Gimp shows a transparent layer instead of the image with the filter applied. This filter worked properly in Gimp 2.6
Has bug #557380 popped up again?
Yes. With 'invert' checked or unchecked, we've got same results: transparent layer.
if image has no alpha channel: seems to work correctly if image has alpha channel: I also get a fully transparent image (unerasing reveals the original image) the respective GEGL operation works, so I'm not sure if this is still worth fixing GIMP version: 2.8.2 (windows)
