Using X-ubuntu 12.04, Evolution 3.2.3
HP elite book, an IBM Thinkpad and a Medion laptop

When editing a mail every time I change a font or insert a smiley or do anything else in the formatting the editor hangs. The only way to quit is to shut-down the entire linux. After reboot evolution asks if the unsaved mail shall be restored. All changes are made, including formatting changes, inserted smilies....

Mail format is set to HTML

How can I get the system to run normal?
Can I use another editor instead of the build in one?

Help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

Problem is fixed in GtkHtml version 4.4.3.
